I appreciate the invites! I had pretty serious trouble with my AM5 mount this last time, and trouble with my new focuser on the RASA. One of these days I’ll actually be able to take pictures for the entire time instead of just troubleshooting issues! =(

Well, my work in OKC has come to an end. Not sure when the next time I will be in the area might be, but I want to thank everyone for the hospitality! It was great to meet new people that share my love for the stars.

The next OKCAC All Member night at CRO is on Saturday, Feb 14th.
Sunset is at 6:15pm.
The forecast doesn’t look good for Saturday night. It does look pretty good for Sunday night.
The forecast for tomorrow night calls for clouds, rain and high winds. Do not count on us opening CRO tomorrow, but if you’re thinking of giving it a try, check back tomorrow afternoon. I won’t ‘officially’ cancel it until then. But I think you’re safe to plan for Valentines celebrations rather than stargazing.
The very long range forecast for the following week, 21 Feb, is looking better. Some clouds, with moderate winds (10-15mph). But also check back here late next week for updated forecasts and predictions.
I am not able to go out both tomorrow and next week, regardless of weather.
The forecast has not improved, so I’m going to cancel tonight’s All Members Night at CRO. It’s still predicted to be cloudy, with very high winds, 17-35mph.
Hopefully we’ll have better luck next week!

I will plan to get there at 5:30pm. Sunset is at 6:16pm. I’m planning to stay until Midnight. Anyone else that wants to come out tonight it looks like it will be pretty good night. Bringing my S50. Can’t wait to see the S30 Pro in action. Should have the C14 open.

CRO is open.
CRO is closed. Gave JBro some training on opening and closing the C14. Had to make some changes to the Park location it was set to the East side instead of the usual West side. Also the time offset was set to +480 instead of-360. We took a look at Saturn and Jupiter. We tried out her new ZWO ASIAir got it working somewhat need some help from someone who has used them before. Got to see some results from her new SeeStar S30 Pro.
