This is my first attempt at this type of animation, but I thought I would try something different with my newly-arrived Celestron Origin.
Most of the blinking stars in this animation of the globular cluster M2 are bluish RR Lyrae variable stars with periods of just several hours.
The animation consists of two images taken approximately 24 hours apart on the nights of October 25th and 26th.
Each image is composed of 60 ten-second subframes for a total integration time per image of 600 seconds (10 minutes).
Telescope: Celestron Origin (152mm f/2.2)
Imaging Sensor: Sony IMX178LQJ
