I put together an image of the Trifid Nebula that I collected last week. It is a fairly small data set, but it was good Pixinsight practice.

Very nice image of Trifid.

Thanks. Especially to Rod Gallagher, who walked me though a good post-processing workflow and to Andy Fryhover for encouraging me to move to Pixinsight. Trifid was bright compared to Cat’s Paw, which is the main reason that I spent spent a week at CRO. Hopefully, l’ll get that one together soon.
