7:00 am Tue, Mar 3 Moonset.

The final “blood moon” total lunar eclipse until 2029 is coming to Oklahoma, and the rest of North America, this Tuesday (March 3). If it’s clear, get out and see it! It should be visible from your front or back yard. IOW, no execuses accepted other than clouds!

Thanks Dave. I didn’t recall your post. Or just missed it. Glad you combined them.

Sadly, the conditions will not be optimal for the lunar eclipse tonight. The weather apps I use predict mostly to completely cloudy.

You might be able to see some of the first part of the eclipse, so if you’re up, be sure to stick your head out the door and take a gander! We might be able to see some of it visually, but not worth trying to image it, imo.

The Moon has a bite out of it.
