Driving home in Yukon noticed a very bright object just under the moon (8p).
Guess its Jupiter. Really nice.

Jupiter it was. Shining bright through the thin layer of high cirrus clouds.
Glad you spotted it and enjoyed it. I often get so wrapped up with equipment and technical stuff that I forgot to take time to just look up and enjoy the wonders of the universe.
The night sky is where I have always found balance.
My wife pointed them both out to me last night as we were finishing an early dinner (on a beautiful fall evening.)
I haven’t pushed her into astronomy, but it’s a start!

I saw it last night too, the moon and Jupiter were close and shining really bright.
