So designed this and testing it tonight in 15-17 mph winds. Seems to be working well

I like your design. Looks like 1" plywood, about 18 inches square, and black paint, and staked down. What is the outer surface material on the sides?
It’s 1 inch poly insulation board, painted black on inside, gorilla tape on edges. Holes for tie downs have 1/2 inch pvc unions in them to act like a gromet. Secured with gorilla tape. Panels measure 32 inch h x 48 inch wide.

If you are planning to use the original tripod included with the Seestar, I would reduce the height by 4-6 inches.
Its a light weight setup, easily packable (folds down flat) and fairly quick setup. Can reach down in to adjust Seestar as needed
