I’m planning on bringing my AVX mount and 8” EdgeHD telescope to look at the planets for the lineup. Mercury and Venus will set fast so will try to look at them while it’s still daylight. Going to try and get setup around 5pm. Will also have my SeeStar S50 with me.
Turned out to be a great event. The most visitors I’ve seen at one of these events. We had 6 club members and 25 visitors. Gerald had his binoculars setup for Solar viewing. Jim had his S50 going. I had my 8” EdgeHD. Ida had the 6” tablet top. Jeremy had his askar 55 on an AM 5 mount. We had one visitor show up with a telescope. We left at about 8:50pm.
