I have a Celestron 6 inch with a port for my cell phone. I would like help with the Star Sense app. Thank you.

I’m sure we have folks that can help you @emilydunagin. Bring it out and we’ll see if we can get you observing!

I plan on making it with my Apertura AD8 Dobsonian. I need help getting the the finderscope aligned. Maybe check if my collimation looks good. I did buy a telrad but have not attached it yet. I am a total beginner.

I will bring my laser collimator. I’m bringing my 6" Orion Starblast telescope.

I plan to move to Wind Surfer Point @7:00 pm to try for the comet. Back to Bluff Creek after. At BC now

My 15 yo daughter, Isla, and I are beginners who just want to learn and see what we can see. We don’t have equipment yet, so if any of you would allow us to observe, we would be grateful! We will be there around 7-7:30

We had a very good evening at Bluff Creek tonight! I didn’t get a count of how many folks showed up but it was over 10!

Though mostly clear, the seeing was the worst I’ve ever experienced there. But I think we helped several folks with telescope issues, which is the whole point of Novice Night, so I’d say it was a great success!

As a bonus, we could see the comet this evening! The first time I’ve seen it since Perihelion!
