Hello! I am interested in astronomy and this club, and am thinking about getting an Apertura AD10 as my first scope. I was wondering if there would likely be people at either the may 1st public viewing, or the may 9th member night that might be willing to show me some things with their equipment before i make my purchase to see if its something i really want to do.
Or perhaps the “Astronomy Day” event on the 25th but as far as i can tell thats for bringing your own equipment and getting help with it, correct me if im wrong though.
I didn’t know what an AD10 was, but found this review of it online. It looks like a great scope, but study the pros and cons they list and make sure you understand them.
The “Astronomy Day” event has been canceled due to weather. We always recommend coming out to any of our events before buying any telescope. The member night’s at CRO is a good one, to get to try out several different telescopes. After 3 months being a club member you can check out telescopes.
