Pleiades Open Star Cluster

Tues Nov 14th 23 evening was very clear and with very little wind so in short good seeing conditions. This is a single shot of Pleiades cluster. Would love to have longer exposure time to gather more of the light and especially gas clouds surrounding these group of stars.

I was in my backyard last night looking at Pleiades with my 15x70 binoculars. It’s a beautiful formation and I hope to capture it with my DSLR someday when I get an EQ mount.

Last night 22-Aug-24, I was able to get M7 Ptolemy’s open cluster a lot better with low 24x mag. Using a 50mm eyepiece and 0.6 reducer/corrector on my Celestron CX8 NexStar SE. Also captured IC 4592 (but no nebula visible to me) M6 Butterfly Cluster and NGC 6231 Open cluster.
