An hour long, but a great synopsis of OTSP 2023!
Will has been using night vision devices for a long time now. I’m always amazed by how much you can see with them. Nebula just jump out of the sky with the night vision.
I’ll share a secret here…
When I get there, I’m going to set up in the extreme, far northeast corner of the observing field.
Why? Am I crazy? LOL, No, Comet C/2023 P1 will be rising very late in the night at about 5 a.m. in the northeast sky. If you set up in the valley in the normal spots… the mesa will be blocking the view of this comet!
So shhhhh keep it a secret!
