M78 in Orion Using Combination of Ha and RGB Filters

Broadband targets are a challenge under skies with less than excellent seeing and transparency. I generally prefer narrowband subjects to offset some of the sky issues. However, M78 in Orion has some unique structures that have been of interest to me for some time. Therefore, I decided to give it a try. This image was produced over the last three nights with moderate transparency and poor seeing. The image was created with over thirteen hours of integration under magnitude 3 skies. All processing was done in Pixinsight.
