Right now, it looks like the S30 Pro is ahead in the low cost smart telescope lineup, though all of them are excellent smart scopes. If you’re thinking of getting the S30 Pro, if you pre-order it before they start shipping, you’ll save $50. It’s now $549; it will go up to $599 on 1 Feb. Even if you order it now, expect it to be a few weeks, or even a couple of month perhaps, before you get it. I think the pre-orders have been heavy.
