International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN) 21 Oct 2023

Change in my plans. My neighbor guests aren’t eager to come out if it’s going to be cloudy. Neither am I, as I’m very tired from other activities yesterday and today. Clouds will disappear, but too late for my guests or me. So, I will not be coming out.

I hope everyone that does has an enjoyable time!!

If I can observe the moon from my backyard, I shall!

CRO is still open for the entire night. It is currently cloudy with clear to the North. We are right on the dividing line. We had a family stop by this afternoon form Edmond to check out CRO.

Sorry, I can’t make it tonight. I spent the day working at my parent’s house. I’m worn out.

Hopefully, it clears up out there!

We went out to CRO for the weekend. Turned out Friday night was the better night Mitch came out with his 3 all-in-one-ea telescopes. We had the 14" EdgeHD telescope up and running. Was able to get the WiFi working on the new mount and run it from my iPad which is so much better than doing it from the hand control. On Saturday we were right on the edge for the cloud cover. Half the sky was clear and the other half was cloudy. We had 10 visitors stop by mainly to view the meteor shower they said they seen about 15 of them even though the clouds where in that area and over the Moon earlier. Before midnight we showed them some objects in the C14. The red spot on Jupiter was showing up very well. They left around 2am.
