This was my go-to first telescope and mount after 2 years of using a Celestron 70mm refractor Travelscope. I used this extensively for over 2 years before upgrading. A very nice setup for the beginner looking to upgrade to a low-mid level go-to. Recommended for budding astrophotographers. If you’re visual only, I recommend getting an Alt-Az mount instead of an Equatorial. Much lower learning curve.
