Excellent launch and we are off to the Moon.
God Speed.
We tuned in again yesterday afternoon for the burn as it left Earth’s orbit. It’s great to feel this excitement again!
Today, the crew of Artemis II reaches a milestone, traveling farther than any humans in recorded history, as they orbit the far side of the Moon, roughly 4,000 miles above the lunar surface.

I’m jealous for so many reasons, but including that they have a chance to see a solar eclipse not possible to any other humans!
I’ve been waiting for this since the ‘70s.
NASA’s Artemis II mission is scheduled to splash down off the coast of San Diego at approximately 7:07 p.m. CDT (5:07 p.m. PDT) on Friday, April 10.
That’s making it hard for me to want to go to the meeting! lol
Beware of cell phone use during the meeting ![]()
