Hi all, new member here. Just purchased a CEM70 that should be arriving later next week. I am upgrading from an AVX, and, after reading through the 100 page user manual, I’m a bit intimidated!
Anyone willing to serve as a resource, or even possibly meet some time to help guide me through setup?
Bring it out the a CRO night, we have a CEM120 at the observatory. Also, Jaxon has a CEM. Brad has a CEM, Christopher Scott has a CEM and I have a CEM. They are not intimidating, pretty straightforward forward really. The center balance design is really sensitive to being off balance, so you will want your OTA balanced well.
