I see that in the 2025 itinerary the registration desk is open almost every day during the event except the first day. Does this mean that attendees can arrive any day and not have to necessarily arrive on the first day only (like I can arrive Tuesday or whatever day if I need to)?

Hey Mark! Good question. You can arrive any day during the party. You can stay for any or all days. Just indicate which days when you register.
When I was teaching at college level, one of the first things I told my students was “There is no such thing as a dumb questions. Sometimes the answer given (by me) is dumb.”
True. And that wasn’t a dumb question. I’m sure others had it too, but were afraid to ask.
OK so let’s say that I register and pay for the entire event-every day including meals for all of the days. Then I look at the forecast and decide to arrive on the 12th rather than the 9th to avoid some bad weather. Would that be ok as long as I contacted the Okie-Tex officials and informed them? I wouldn’t ask for refunds or anything like that.
That’s not a problem. We appreciate it if you let us know you’re not arriving when expected, but we have a lot of folks that are delayed, or don’t show up at all. And don’t let us know.
