Had a chance to test out my new astrophotography rig at CRO last night. 102 minutes of total exposure using an unmodified nikon d5300 through a gso 6" f4 newtonian and an apertura coma corrector on a cgem. No calibration frames, stacked in deep sky stacker and processed in gimp. Still learning how to post proccess but im happy with the results considering the by the seat of my pants approach

That is very nice work! Curious though which galaxy is seen at the bottom center?
So is that M110 on bottom and M32 on top?
Yes that is correct, normally its flipped

I hope you don’t mind, I “processed” the jpeg a little bit. Remember that color sensors are RGGB, so you gotta knock down the “green cast” quite a bit because the sensor is getting twice the amount of green vs red and blue. Congrats on the new setup

I don’t mind at all Andy. When i have a moment ill look into adjusting the colors. If i remember, I might also upload the original file so others can have a crack at it if they feel like it.
