The results from last night at Stanley Draper Lake. We had club member’s Gerald, Jeremy, Carolyn and John. New members Ebony and son Yasin. One of Jeremy’s friends from the camera club. Nick and his wife visiting from England. Misty and her husband with a new telescope that we got going somewhat, was able to track the Moon. Had some issues trying to get the alignment done so the GoTo would work. Had a car pull in later on but not sure if anyone got out. They did stay parked for a bit of time. Had a car just drive through the parking lot after Maximum Eclipse and left. Had a great night. Had no wind to speak of and clear skies. Had about 12 telescopes and cameras setup. Saw an airplane cross in front of the Moon during the eclipse, didn’t catch it on my time lapse videos. We also viewed Venus which was at half phase and Saturn.

We had about the same situation at Bluff Creek last night. About 7 club members and 7-8 visitors. KOCO stopped by for an interview about the eclipse. And they almost got the story right!
We had a great time observing the eclipse and socializing with each other and the visitors.
