# Just for fun, Orion Nebula from my backyard, phone at the eyepiece

Taken at the eyepiece of my 10" f5.6 reflector. Held my android phone up to the eyepiece. Was checking out an adapter, which didn’t work too good, so I tried holding the phone at the eyepiece instead. No processing. The phone was in night vision mode.

Nice shot. I’ve gotten a couple of the cell phone adaptors. None have worked all that well for me.

The best I could do on my iPhone 12 is below. Celestron CX8, NexStar 8SE, and 25mm eyepiece using NextCap iPhone app in stars mode for 10sec exposure.
