# Emergency Repair Workstation - at Okie-Tex Hall

After traveling to a remote site the last thing you need is for a loose wire, bad connector, or something worse to ruin your night or trip. Every year this will happen to someone here at OTSP, and that is why we have an Emergency Repair Workstation.

There are a number of basic tools available, including a soldering station, power meter, heat gun and shrink wrap, crimp connectors, some RJ11 and RJ45 ends with a crimp tool, and battery testers/chargers. Use them if they will help!

We ask that you keep the work and tools in the building if you can, but there are some old batteries we have had hiding in boxes for a couple of years, help yourself to those if you are in need.

So far I haven’t had to make use of this but I think it is a great idea!

The Repair station is a great addition to the star party. I did use it to make a repair to my glasses. The shrink tubing and heat gun did the trick. Thank you for adding the repair station.
