CANCELLED: Member Night at CRO - Jun 17

The forecast is for clouds during our prime viewing hours, so I’m officially cancelling Member Night tonight.

The second member night at CRO in May is on Saturday, June 17.

Sunset is at 2052 (8:52pm). The moon sets at 2056, so will it will be a very dark night!

Check the weather forecasts and check back here to ensure it will be good viewing weather and CRO will be open.

I forgot this last Saturday, so am posting this now: If you come to CRO via I-40W, get off it at El Reno! Stop at Swadley’s to eat, then take the back roads to at least the Calumet exit on I-40 (US 270), or probably better, stay on the back roads to US 271 N to Geary, or just stay on US 270 to Geary, then north as usual.

I-40 between El Reno and the Calumet exit is a parking lot. I think at least until the end of June.

Oh yeah. You don’t have to stop at Swadley’s, I just recommend it if you like barbecue. And they have very crispy fried okra which I love!

And watch out for speed traps. There were two on the backroads last Saturday on the way out to CRO.

Change of plans, my wife want to go see her Dad Saturday. Probably won’t be back in time to make it out.
