# Advice about GOTO equatorial mount?

Hello! I currently have an iOptron SkyGuider Pro star tracker, and while it is okay for my mirrorless camera and a lightweight lens, I would like to buy a better mount that I can “grow into” for deep sky astrophotography. My needs are modest now, but eventually I might buy a small telescope like RedCat 51. I would like some advice about whether to save up for a German Equatorial mount like the Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer GTi or whether the “harmonic drive mounts” such as the ZWO AM5 are worth the extra cost. I would probably like driving it with an ASIAIR or a DIY Raspberry Pi. Thanks!

Mike did you ever get an answer on what to get? I don’t have any of those mounts so don’t have any real advice. Just checking to see if this post is still needed?

Still waiting on my S30 Pro. Got to see one in action at CRO. Looks like it is going to be pretty cool.
